County District 1 Councilwoman Mary A. Lehman invites you to attend an informational meeting regarding the SC Maglev [train project coming through District 1 and particularly South Laurel].

• An overview will be provided by the company proposing the project, Baltimore-Washington Rapid Rail (BWRR),
• Followed by independent assessments of the project’s environmental impacts and economic feasibility.
• We will also have independent GIS maps of the area illustrating various environmental issues and other concerns, [including possible home takings (eminent domain) by the MagLev project if approved].
